Life's forces have caused me to prioritize some things and unfortunately this blog has to get bumped down. =*( posts, if any, will be veeery sparse. i'll still be around though. ttyl.

Raashan Ahmad

Raashan Ahmad's got two tracks posted up for download on his Myspace page right now. They're Presto remixes for "Hello" and "Peace" off of his album, The Push. I saw him do a show up in SF once, with his group Crown City Rockers (when they were called Mission). They performed with People Under The Stairs and the shit was dope. For reals. With their live band and everything?!? Fohget about it. So anyway, Crown City Rockers will be performing at the House of Blues in Anaheim this Friday and Raashan will be having a free album release party at The Roxy on the 26th. Last Night at The Crosby

That's the one picture I took from last night. It's Bearded Baby performing their set. It's 8:51am right now and I haven't slept yet, so I don't think I'm in any condition to write at extent about how these muther fuckers fucking killed it so hard last night, but believe me. They. Killed. It. SO hard. Sure, I could be fibbing and making that up, but I'm not. Plain and simple. Not only do I not throw my balls around so freely with words so bold, but you can ask the packed house full of people there too.

Let me just say this, I feel real lucky to have been there. It's kinda difficult for me to spill my guts out there like this, so let me just say this too... if I spent time taking just one more picture than I did, that would take away from me soaking in all the killing it they were doing, and I wouldn't like that. I just wish I didn't have to leave early. Now I'm looking forward to Wednesday.
