We had E. Bryant on the show a few weeks back. I first ran into him at the now defunct record store Beats, Vinyl & Life in Anaheim. The dude was playing with an MPC and I liked what he was sayin and what he was playin. He's young, but his stuff is definitely promising. It's got that electronic hip hop sound I'm feelin.

Lupe Fiasco "Superstar" ft. Matthew Santos

Lupe Fiasco's sophomore release, The Cool is coming out (i don't know when) and the first single has just surfaced. It's called "Superstar." If you haven't heard the track yet, think Chris Martin from Coldplay on a large skateboard while playing a standup piano with Lupe standing on top rapping. Make what you want of that, but I like the song. because I like Lupe. and I feel like his stuff speaks to me. The song is refreshing, especially since I've been so consumed with wondering who will win between Fiddy & Kanye this Tuesday.
