The tour bus carrying Mr. Lif, The Coup, DJ Big Wiz and the rest of their touring entourage crashed and caught on fire. Luckily everyone survived, but there were injuries. I wonder what happened. You can check the news here.

Documentary: Angel's Wings

I don't know why I get hated on when I post something remotely sexual. It hurts my feelings. Ok. Not really. One of our friends is working on the PR for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show—airs tomorrow at 10pm on CBS, btw—and she's pushing these vids. I am NOT going to watch them. I'll only get hated on. Mos Def B-Side

My turntables hadn't been set up in my room for a while. I've been too lazy to set them up... just to have to take them down again for another one of my cotillion, debut, quinceanera, wedding, or bah mitzvah gigs. Yo, holla at me for those. I gotchu.

I did a few vinyl rips to commerate the moment. Here are two, but more to come.

Mos Def - Magnificent ft. Vinia Mojica (mp3)
This is a random Mos track which is on the b-side of a song with Ludachris. I like when Mos does that. Check that Clash sample. Some people might call this track "fiya" or "off the meatrack" or something like that. I'd agree.

White Label - My Style Is Simply Marvelous (mp3)
This is a white label so I don't even know if that's the title of the track, but there's a sample in their that keeps going "my style is simply marvelous." You get the idea. It's one of those mid 90s party joints. Drums on this are pladow to the ears and the horn is so choice.

NOVEMBER 27--A senior executive of a Fortune 500 company was the target of a six-figure extortion plot hatched by a woman who first met the businessman online and then later threatened to go public with details of his extramarital affairs, The Smoking Gun has learned. According to an FBI agent, the New York executive acknowledged that on "multiple occasions" he trolled for women on Craigslist and a second site "devoted to bringing together attractive women and wealthy men who were seeking romantic relationships." It was during the man's time on Craigslist earlier this year that he met Jessica Wolcott, a 22-year-old who pleaded guilty last week to extorting $125,000 from the executive...
